Material watch: Studio TK and Plantd's furniture collaboration
A 2026 supplier announcement puts grass-based structural panels into the commercial furniture conversation.
The announcement
In an April 27, 2026 announcement, Plantd identified Studio TK as its first furniture brand partner and named the Clique Luxe bench collection as an application for its grass-based panels. This briefing revisits that announcement; it is not a new launch notice.
Questions for a specification conversation
For a project considering alternative materials, ask which components use the material and request current product documentation. Confirm available configurations, finish options and any product-specific environmental information before making a project claim. These are our suggested questions, rather than verified performance claims about the collection.
Bring the conversation to your project.
